Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.
Psalms 100:2-4
Music is a language that connects us to our Creator. We are encouraged to praise our Abba musically in several places in the Bible, such as (1 Chronicles 16:9) , (Psalms 28:7) and (Isaiah 12:2) . We find throughout Scripture that music is used to praise, draw near, edify and gain victory.
Worship at The Rehearsal will feature a live band, congregational singing, and congregational dance. This is a time to lay aside the distractions of the world so we can focus on praising and worshiping Him for bringing us out from the bondage of sin so that we can meet with Him. Our desire is that we will connect with him during this time so that we can enter His gates with praise and then draw near through musical prayer.
